The Russian women’s under-16 national football team secured a 3-0 victory over Belarus in the final match of the UEFA Women’s Junior Development Tournament, which concluded in Minsk. Ksenia Morozova opened the scoring in the 38th minute, Varvara Novikova converted a penalty in the 45th minute, and Alena Yunusova added a third goal in the 90th minute to seal the win.
In the other match of the tournament, Bulgaria defeated Belarus’s second team 3-1.
With this result, Russia finished at the top of the standings with nine points, having won all three of their matches. Belarus followed in second place with six points, Bulgaria took third with three points, and the Belarus B team finished fourth with zero points.
