ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the NBA has concluded its investigation into the Milwaukee Bucks’ handling of player participation policies and potential inconsistencies regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury status, determining that no further action is necessary.
The league launched the inquiry in early April after examining whether the Bucks properly followed participation guidelines and whether there was conflicting information about Antetokounmpo’s injury. According to the report, Milwaukee informed the NBA that the star forward was not ready to return to play. However, Antetokounmpo indicated he felt prepared and willing to take the court but had not been cleared by the team’s medical staff.
Following a thorough review, the NBA has decided the case requires no disciplinary measures.
