Movistar Team has announced its roster for one of the biggest races on the women’s calendar: La Vuelta Femenina, scheduled for May 3-9, with the Angliru climb serving as the grand finale.
German rider Liane Lippert will take on the leadership role in the absence of Marlen Reusser, who suffered a heavy crash at the Tour of Flanders. Lippert has had a strong 2026 campaign so far, winning the Vuelta CV Féminas and finishing inside the top 30 in all the spring classics she has contested.
Cuban sprinter Arlenis Sierra will be the team’s main option in the bunch finishes. Completing the seven-rider lineup are Mareille Meijer, Tota Magalhaes, Sara Martín, Aude Biannic, and Lucía Ruiz, all aiming to make an impact in a Vuelta Femenina that will be decided on the brutal slopes of the Angliru.
