The 2026 Seoul Olympic Memorial Breaking K-Crew Battle will take place on May 16 at the 88 Lawn Square in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Sponsored by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation and organized by the Korea DanceSport Federation, the competition will feature 19 crews competing in the “Crew Battle” event — the pinnacle and essence of breaking.
In addition, a “Youth 1-on-1 Battle” section will be held, allowing young breaking talents to showcase their skills.
Kang Il-sung, president of the Korea DanceSport Federation, expressed his hopes: “I wish this competition will expand the base of breaking and provide athletes with an opportunity to fully display their abilities. The crew battle, highlighting teamwork, is a special stage where the essence of breaking can be enjoyed. I look forward to citizens visiting the site being captivated by the explosive energy and diverse charm unique to breaking.”
